About Us
Currently located in the beautiful rolling hills of Burt County just three miles south of Oakland, NE...with over 40 years of horse riding/breeding/training/showing experience, Triple C Pinto Ponies & Miniature Horses (formerly Triple C Pinto Horses, and Double U Farm Quarter Horses) is not new to the world of horses, although our entry into the miniature horse world has been more recent! We have perfected our miniature herd and our mini bloodlines for over a decade now, and actively compete with the Pinto Horse Association Of America the American Miniature Horse Registry, as well as other state and open local shows. We have grown quite the little herd of amazing little horses to date, with the help of the incredible Laura Linhart whom our very first miniature stock came from! Stefanie's first horse show debut was at the NE State Fair with a miniature mare by the name of Bitsy Betsy back in the mid-1980's.....bred and owned by the legendary Melvin Whitmaack. Our herd of minis today, consists of pedigrees that go straight back to Melvin's farm and LEGENDARY breeding program. Our beautiful stallion Expo (HAWKS EXPO ON ICE) has a disposition and confirmation true to his foundation pedigree which includes breed legends such as Champion Farms Nighthawk, Melody's Gold Boy, Roan Ranger, and Johnstons Gold Boy.
Right now we are a small operation, and hope to stay that way in an effort to ENJOY our horses and to be able to share our passion for horses with other families. We DO offer basic care, ground, in-hand and riding sessions/lessons for beginners of all ages (our "Bitty Buckeroo" program caters to children as young as two years old) and our prices are EXTREMELY competitive and affordable—-designed to fit any budget!
